Goldblum warned me...

I had a small equipment failure last night. No not that, this:

One of the pilot frequency drivers for POD #1 switched mode power supply unit overloaded and burned out. Unfortunately Chicken paris #97 was in the pod at the time and suffered some minor damage. It's not very pretty, so for those of a nervous disposition I have posted a warning.

If you feel that you can cope with my experimental failures, you may click on the warning. I have replaced the pilot driver and am now in process of restoring BlueBeak to normal.

A walk in the Glen.

I decided to go for a walk this afternoon. It was raining, I got very wet, v e r y wet.
I have been intending to take some autumnal pictures, but have obviously left it too late to catch the full spectrum.

These are taken in a small glen near my place of work. Clicking on a thumbnail will enable a larger view.

A view of the waterfall

I arrived back at my office and removed my soaking wet outer garments. I made a warming cup of coffee and watched as the sky cleared and the sun came out creating a beautiful rainbow.

A view of the rainbow
The moral of this post is :
Don't be sans pantaloons in the rain.

Storm Clouds Gather Overhead.

Instead of Jens Thursday Thirteen, I thought I would post this:

Hand in hand we walk apart
Lost lovers in lost direction
Cold ice walls surround our heart
No sign of any affection

The truth is never talked
With no maps our words to guide
Our hearts remain firmly locked
To the future our past cannot hide

With no solution in future sight
My soul breathes a resigned sigh
No gentle caress for us tonight
Just another silent salted cry

A clone too far...

I thought an update might be beneficial. Chicken Paris clone#2 is held in a stasis field so that I can reverse the process to re-create BlueBeak. Meanwhile Chicken Paris clones #3 to # 42 have come and gone. I am searching for Chicken Paris Right, and it seems I have zero control over personality; it has something to do with the effect of cosmic particles on the process, and even though the pods are heavily shielded, some particles still get through.
Here is a photograph of myself and Chicken paris #43 going for a jaunt last night.

Chicken Paris#1 unfortunately got purged during a romp a few weeks ago. I quite enjoy the company of Chicken Paris, but I will have to re-create BlueBeak before The Holidays. The consideration of marriage has been discounted, mostly because the Chicken Paris' that suggest it tend to suffer an unfortunate purge accident.
It's a good job Chicken Paris#43 can't read.
