Boy this brings back the memories! I must say, at "the big house", we would SO often have roast duck, with a delicate apricot glaze. We would dine in candle-lit dining halls where there was always live harp music playing softly by a lovely young lady in a flowing dress with droopy sleeves. Then we would finish our meal with say, perhaps, a baked alaska or a creme bruellet. It was magical, really..
Dick, I never doubted you for one second. Those must have been halcyon days indeed! I have no comparable experience of anything that lavish. And harps too...
Dick, I had no idea they served delicate apricot glaze or baked alaska in prison, or provided candlelit hallways with harps a'playin'. What a wonderful experience that must have been. It was so nice of the U.S. Prison System to provide a beautiful way for you to forget the serial murders...
Was this at Alcatraz or San Quentin? I've lost track.
"... Alcatraz. Believe me, once you've been there you never forget a place like that...." Dick, you've said this before and I thought it was because of the horror of the place. I'm delighted to hear you enjoyed the experience so much. Good times!

Bugs is looking lovely these days, and he hasn't aged a day. I wonder what his secret is?
oh, maybe it's the duck dinners...
I guess believing that you will be the next meal will make you age faster.
Teri, I think believing that you will be the next meal will make you RUN faster! :)

Jen, Bugs and I are so sorry. The invitation you sent was misplaced by myself. Bugs wishes to join you for dinner as soon as it is convenient for you.
Bugs is all over the place
