I don't think it's finished yet. The Lady looks quite melancholy, but then maybe that's just the way things are.

I LOVE the newer version! At first, I thought it was peacock feathers added but then I enlarged! Genius! And I enjoy that she is still melancholy but with the added beautiful creepiness of all eyes on her! AWESOME!
Jenn, thank you. I'm working on another MMM cover at present, but it's a big graphic and will take a few more weeks to get to a post-able state. I find it best to complete a bit then take a break,that way I'm not too self-critical.
Yes, her melancholy makes the piece. The Lady needs a name. Would you like to name her?
I would be HONORED to suggest a name but would leave the final choice to you! What if I suggest Mildred and you hate it?! Not that I would suggest Mildred but you see my point!

After much thought- I couldn't help but picture her as the long suffering, older sister of Malificent (the baddie in Sleeping Beauty) (my FAVORITE baddie, btw) (I was so sad to learn that a man is hired to wear her costume at Disney so she can be taller!)
And the word melancholy aspect of her is so lovely that I couldn't help but think Malificient's sister may be called Melancholia. But that sounds like a disease one gets in one's private areas.
Sooooo- how do you feel about Melania??
Jenn, Melania is wonderful! I'll tidy things up and see if I can complete the graphic to a state worthy of your effort.
WIthout the beautiful inspiration- I wouldn't have been inspired to make the effort! She has taken on a life in my head and though I can't illustrate with graphics- I can tell her tale! Melancholy Melania...:)
