Yes, It Did.

Obviously some things are better than others . . .but what's the "betterness"? . . . So round and round you go, spinning mental wheels and nowhere finding anyplace to get traction. What the hell is Quality? What is it?

This book will change the way you think and feel about your life.

It still is.

ChrisSD, the book is Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance by Robert M Pirsig. I picked it up again recently after 30 odd years, and found my youth written in the margin notes I made. A time before I became a curmudgeon.

Bubbles, brain hurt is a perfectly normal consequence of reading this stuff.
I find alcohol helps.

The required dosage is about one every two minutes.

Julia, you may be correct, but it feels as if I've had to achieve being middle-aged and miserable the hard way.
