Soup Update.
I was going to make some Butternut Squash soup to the recipe advised by Dick Small.
Alas, I did not manage to make it for lunch today, but did obtain a Butternut Squash from the supermarket for just under $2. It's fairly big so I will wait till the weekend and make a big pot of soup. If it tastes good, I will post another update.

I think the original recipe was for six persons, so I will modify the quantities somewhat. That is the story of my life, that beautiful women only want me for my brain... :¬)

that squash is from Argentina....are they different from squash grown in the USA?....taste?...texture?....size?...

Cheer34, I'm afraid I don't know. I have never had butternut squash before. They varied in height from about 8 to 14 inches if that's any help...
