Remembrance Sunday.

For Jimmy Nicol, who sailed the seas.

"I sailed into Boston USA
Easter Sunday on board
USA destroyer Totland.
Their easter parade was lovely."

P o s t W a r N o t e s.
Easter Sunday was April 21st 1946.
HMS TOTLAND remained at Sunderland until arrangements were made for her return to the US Coastguard Service. Manned by a steaming crew she sailed for Boston, Mass, on 26th March 1946 and was handed back on 2nd May that year. She was renamed USS MOCOMA and remained in use as a Coastguard Patrol Vessel until 15th July 1955 when sold for breaking-up.
