Smythe, I hope you managed to get most of the dialogue.
Teri, Sorry about the thick accents.
Indentity crisis, Do you recognise Betty as a relation?
Jen, Sorry again for the accents.
Dick, this is a Scottish show, produced by BBC Scotland. Everyone is speaking English but exhibits the reason why most excellent Scottish shows do not travel, ie the thick accents understood only by locals and those with relatives. I was toying with the idea of subtitles but it's a lot of work.
If anyone is interested the show is called 'Chewin the fat' and there are numerous clips on YouTube.

It's a shame that with her thick, Scottish accent, I can't tell what the hell she's saying but I get the point.
never look into your family tree unless you REALLY want to hear the truth. poor guy.
Aye! She's a beaut!
It looks funny...
I wish I could
undertand what
she's saying
Is this an English show? Like done in England? (I would assume they speak English).
You know, she actually reminds me of Camilla P. B. now married to Prince Charles. Who will never be king.

I could understand it. If I had speakers, that is. I wouldn't need subtitles. I'm that good.
Teri and Jen couldn't understand it because they're girls. Guys are better at things like this. It's a proven fact.
