Well that was a nice little interlude in my rotten afternoon (migraine from hell - what's new...)

Who are they?

The woman looked kind of familiar, but I can't say I heard of this group before.

Thanks for the link. I have a Steely Dan greatest hits CD - I always liked the song they used for their name.

Lynda, they were pretty big over here in the late eighties. I still like their music, and have a number of their albums on my MP3 player.

Julia, I like SD too.

Hello The Pantaloony! Miss Teri sent me over here to check you out and I find DEACON BLUE which is like a Twilight Zone moment. I was having a conversation about them yesterday with a fan of theirs here in NYC who said "You're from GLASGOW? All I know about Glasgow is Deacon Blue." to which I replied "Good God man, that's a blast from the past."

And then there they are again. On your page. It's a sign of something.

I hope you don't mind the hijack. I am now craving Irn Bru.

Hail Guv'ner! Welcome. I have never been to NYC. Is Irn Bru readily available, or have you a secret stash shipped over by family?
The post was instigated by Deacon Blue coming up on my MP3 player on shuffle. I thought I would see what was on YouTube...
