Runway Edge.
The costume I adopt may just give me the edge I seek. I have some options below for your persual, should you wish to offer me the benefit of your wisdom.
This is the super-hero costume designed for me by the wonderful Jen of Casual Slack. Do you think this will scare the Bart Brothers sufficiently to give me those vital seconds?
Finally the red dress tactic. I burst into that wonderful song from Chris De Burgh and render them helpless with nausea. That could be the one.

Sorry about that, I had too much Vegetable Pakora last night. Do you think the dark sinister look will do the job? Maybe I should open the valve in their direction.

Jen might get angry if you dont use hers. You wouldnt want to see Jan angry :) Its the best one, but the dress looks great on you!
i think we need an option four. one that shows a bit more skin....
Summarizing the looks:
1) Braveheart meets Shazam..although the boots tip the scales to the Shazam side.
2) Consider this only if your superpower involved punctuation.
3) Third-string Victoria Secret model.
I'd vote for 2. We'll need more role models for communication with all the text message and chat room shortcuts being made to the English language. Besides, you can also make those cool punctuation sounds like Victor Borge did on Electric Company! (Fsssssssss-ppt)

Stjarna67, Welcome and thank you for your insightful summary. The boots are very Shazam, but the alternative was the green wellingtons and they spoil the hero look somewhat. Conversely, the Shazam boots clashed with the red dress. I did manage to puncture the wetsuit on the way out, and those very sounds were made!
