Did Great Britain elect a black Prime Minister? Or are you just excited about the American election.

Jen! Yay! Double Yay!

Sushi, not yet, Gordon Brown is still incumbent. I think along with the Global Village and the Global Economy, The American Election is a Global Event that will surely affect every person on this planet. President Elect Obama is an inspirational speaker, and I hope and pray that his Presidency promotes change for a better future for everyone.

I was blubbering too. I kept switching back to the hockey game to keep myself grounded (Canucks 4, Preds 0). Two great wins.

As my grandmother used to say:

"Will cease never wonder - what?"

(Translation - she was rearranging 'Will wonders never cease' just for fun.)

It was an amazing evening. I laughed and cried, and I'm still smiling! I feel a little more optimistic about the future now.
