Today at Christy's in York, Sans Pantaloons Lemon Blue portrait changed hands for $15,000,000. Pantaloons - who began his career painting garden gnomes - has fallen from grace recently having not produced anything worthwhile since 1976.
Having pocketed his cheque less commission, Pantaloons was quoted as saying "Yahoo!, I'm off."
